Sales and Marketing Director

WestQuay Energy, a leading expert in the Solar PV industry based in the West of Ireland, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to join our growing team.

About the position

Based in the West of Ireland, WestQuay Energy are leading expert’s in the Solar PV industry. We are committed to promoting renewable energy, helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint while saving on energy costs. Due to increased growth, we are looking for a passionate and sales-driven individual to join the team as “Director of Sales and Marketing”

What you will do

Devise & implement a sales strategy that will increase sales within the Solar PV Sector

Lead & manage the Regional Sales Team

Pricing of residential projects & tenders for large-scale commercial projects

Identify new business opportunities by leveraging referrals, networking events & marketing campaigns

Establish strong relationships with existing and new stakeholders

Innovating & improving processes and procedures that will increase output

Delivery of reports and insight to exec. and board-level

Create and implement sales strategies and opportunities

Monitor and enforce KPIs for the team to exceed

Enhance and improve our brand awareness in the market by working with internal & external stakeholders

Monitor market trends and competitor analysis to adapt strategies for continued growth 
Lead the implementation and configuration of Salesforce CRM

What you will need to succeed

Proven experience in a Senior Sales role within the solar industry or similar

Strong negotiation & relationship-building skills

Ability to manage budgets at department level

You must be sales-driven, and have excellent communication & presentation skills

A strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to client engagement

Experience in working in a fast-paced, competitive market, with high-volume sales  
Strong focus on tendering commercial and utility-scale projects
